With the quarterback competition decided, Missouri is looking to get the offense rolling. Incumbent junior Brady Cook was officially named the starter this week ahead of redshirt freshman Sam Horn, but Horn is still likely to get a series or two tonight as the Tigers play the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders. Game time is 6 p.m.
Last season, the Missouri Tiger defense kept the team in multiple games when the offense struggled to stay on the field. With new offensive coordinator Kirby Moore’s system in place, the Tigers are ready to get moving at 7 p.m. today when they open the season at Faurot Field against South Dakota. But the leader of that offense is still in question.
Eliah Drinkwitz, Jayden Jernigan, Kris Abrams-Draine, Mekhi Miller and Armand Membou sat down with the media on Friday to preview the matchup with the Coyotes.
