Owen Wilson To Star In Family Action Movie Secret Headquarters
No release date has been set for the upcoming movie.
Actor Owen Wilson will be following up his role in the upcoming Marvel series Loki with the family action movie, Secret Headquarters, according to Deadline. The film is being described as a high-concept family action movie about a kid who discovers the secret headquarters of the world’s most powerful superhero hidden beneath his home and must defend it with his group of friends when villains attack.
Wilson s role in Secret Headquarters has not yet been announced, but the screenwriting trio of Henry Joost (Catfish: The TV Show), Ariel Schulman (Catfish: The TV Show), and Josh Koenigsberg (Hulu s High Fidelity) are tackling the current draft of the script. The story comes from an original screenplay by Christopher Yost (Thor: Ragnarok, The Mandalorian). Jerry Bruckheimer (Beverly Hills Cop, CSI: Miami) will produce.

So there’s this kid, and it turns out there’s a superhero headquarters under his house. When bad guys attack as they always do he and his friends have to defend the superhero hideout.
Okay, so they’re not home
alone, exactly, but the vibe is similar.
Secret Headquarters is the next film from
Project Power directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, and Deadline reports that Owen Wilson has just signed on to star in the “high concept family action movie.” Jerry Bruckheimer is producing the film, so you know the “action” part of that description is certainly accurate.
