As you can see by pictures provided by the Sheriffs Office today, the suspect in the other car shot through a rear door and an infant safety seat, grazing the twomonthold baby. The baby was treated at Childrens Hospital of wisconsin and is in stable condition. A section of i43 was closed down for a short time after, so officers could reconstruct the scene and find any evidence. Crime experts say these type of investigations could take days or even months to complete. There going to look at cameras, on the fr theres a lot of surveillance cameras all over the area. There going to look for cars. First of all theyre going to try to get a description of the vehicle. Possibly if someone saw a license plate. If you get the license plate number you can track it to that vehicle. But if someone was not able to, there going to try to get a description of that vehicle.
