NEW YORK, NY .-Hauser & Wirth New York is presenting ‘We Were Already Gone’, an exhibition at its West 22nd Street location in the Chelsea Arts District, organized in collaboration with Hunter College. Curated by graduate students in Hunter’s Department of Art & Art History, this exhibition showcases the work of artists currently enrolled in the school’s MFA Program in Studio Art. ‘We Were Already Gone’ spotlights the diversity and holistic approach that have situated Hunter uniquely among American institutions devoted to higher education in the arts. The show presents an array of works across mediums, with sculpture, painting, and videos that confront the global cultural and political reckoning underway.

He arrives after serving as Chief Medical Officer of two Florida hospitals. He will provide senior clinical direction and work to improve patient care throughout the Medical City Healthcare network in North Texas. Parra was originally trained as a hospitalist, and arrives from within the HCA network having perviously been CMO at HCA Healthcare’s North Florida Regional Medical Center since 2019 in Gainesville, Florida. While there, the hospital increased quality scores and physician satisfaction. He helped guide the hospital through the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic, implementing guidance from HCA as well as the CDC. He was also CMO of Orange Park Medical Center in Florida, where he helped the hospital earn a Level II Trau

North Florida medical center unveils units in $90 million expansion

Krista Hatley joked that North Florida Regional Medical Center’s new postpartum unit couldn’t be opening at a better time the hospital is expecting its largest number of deliveries ever in December as families prepare to welcome “quarantine babies.”  “It’s opening just in time,” said Hatley, the vice president of women and children services at North Florida.  The hospital’s new 30-bed postpartum and 10-bed antepartum unit, which opens this month, is one of several units opening over the next several months on three new floors at the hospital’s south tower.
