Them went to the hospital. Police say a man went to the club and just opened fire. Three men and two women were shot. They were all alive when rescuers took them to the hospital. A gunman opened fire at a d. C. Nightclub, sending club goers running for cover. Five people are in the hospital this morning with gunshot wounds. The shooting happened just after 2 00 this morning at d. C. Sound stage club on the 2400 block of benning road northeast. Derek ward is live on the scene with more. Reporter yeah, good morning. Sound stage, by all indications, is a popular night spot, but it was about 2 20 this morning there were patrons inside at the bar. Police say someone came up to the door, opened the door, and opened fire. Patrons went scrambling. Four males and one female were hit. Police at first thought there were only four people hit. They found one patron out back hiding for cover. They dont have a description of the gunman. Fortunately, none of the wounds sustained were life threatening. Police
After two companies that lost bids protested. Now the commission is going another direction. If you take taxis in the district, you may have ridden with a driver who accepts debit and credit cards.
