Sustained wind of 2535 mph is likely with gusts to 55 mph. High pressure will keep the weather dry and mild through early wednesday. Tuesday highs will likely be the warmest temperatures of the year to date. The next chance of rain and snow arrives on wednesday, as a pacific trough pushes inland. It will be warm and windy to start, with gusty southerly wind east of the sierra crest and snow levels above 8000. By wednesday night, temperatures and snow levels will fall rapidly as a cold front moves through. Expect Winter Travel in the sierra, with some slippery spots thursday morning down to 5000.
