The US Preventative Services Task Force (USPSTF), one of the most influential bodies in American health care, is also pushing for every American over 12 to be screened for depression.
"You can’t just carve the world into 'disorders' and think you’re doing an adequate job of determining someone’s mental health needs," said UCSF professor Dr. Jonathan Shedler.
