JOHNSTOWN The Johnstown Public Library is curtailing some of its services because of the growing COVID-19 situation.
“This is purely a proactive move with the rising case numbers,” library Director Erica Wing said Tuesday.
She said the move is also being made in conjunction with the Greater Johnstown School District, which this week also scaled back to remote learning.
The 38 S. Market St. library service level has been “rolled back and limited” similar to a situation earlier in the pandemic.
The library’s website notes that this is being done “out of an abundance of caution amidst the locally rising numbers of COVID cases.”
