Voice of the people: Derrick Turner Appreciates Columbus teachers As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, I would like to pay special tribute to some of my favorites educators. Ms. Murray was my second-grade class, where she taught us the importance of being polite and respectful. Often she would remind me that she had taught my “folks,” which meant she knew my mom, aunts and uncles. And that fact along, ensured I was always on my behavior.
