No one was injured. The milk truck was traveling south from Vermont to Connecticut when the accident occurred, according to Whately Fire Chief John Hannum. Near a truck stop just south of Deerfield at around 5:30 a.m., the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle, hit the guard rail on the median side of the interstate, and then skidded farther down the road, spilling milk. Hannum said the original cause of the driver losing control is unknown.
