New tonight, we reached out to carlee and all members of city council and none of them would comment. So i took our questions straight to the mayor. I am very sad to see ron carlee not renew his contract and to say that he, you know, intends to leave the city. Reporter tonight, mayor Jennifer Roberts opened up to me about this letter from Charlotte City manager ron carlee announcing hes decided not to seek a contract extension. Thanksgiving afternoon. He has moved the city in so many, you know, different ways on gotten us through tough issues and have just been a great manager.
