A visit schedule is far from insignificant. Some say the order a recruit visits schools can hint at a their interest level in said schools. However, whether that s actually the case is something only the recruit truly knows with any certainty.
Let s break down each team in the order they will receive a visit.
Washington
Here we have the hometown school, but I see Washington as a team on the outside looking in. The Huskies have brought in big names recently such as local 5-star Washington products Sam Huard (QB) and Sav ell Smalls (OLB).
The team has been hot-and-cold on the recruiting trail, finishing the last three cycles (2019-2021) ranked 16, 17 and 36 nationally. Jimmy Lake led the team to a 3-1 record in his first year as head coach in a shortened COVID season.

Oregon Ducks head football coach Mario Cristobal received a knock at his door from Shane Lemieux.
In the fall of 2018, Lemieux was a junior guard who was on his way to being named a first team All-American.
But Lemieux wasn’t knocking on Cristobal’s door to discuss personal accolades. In fact, Lemieux had a simple message for his coach.
“I want to play beside Penei Sewell,” Lemieux told his coach.
Cristobal took that as an eye-opener, considering Sewell was just a freshman from American Samoa. However, from the second he stepped on campus in Eugene, Cristobal knew he had something special.

ALLEN PARK Most true freshmen who start right away at big schools enroll early. That’s especially true up front, due to the physical and mental demands of the position. But not Penei Sewell.
His Utah high school went late in the year, so he didn’t show up at Oregon until summer camp in 2018. He was just 17 years old, still not old enough to buy a lotto ticket but going up against big men who had spent years in a college strength program. Yet Sewell was so dominant that Oregon’s starting left guard, a fifth-year senior named Shane Lemieux, marched into head coach Mario Cristobal’s office within a week.
