Drivers warned to take care as snow arrives in Cumbria
Drivers are urged to take care as snow hits the region once again.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow for today across Cumbria and the rest of the north of England and Scotland.
As rain pushes north east and comes into contact with cold air, it will readily turn to snow away from eastern coastal districts.
The Met Office said: “One to three cm of snow is likely across some low ground, with five-10cm in places across southern Scotland and above 150m over northern England.
