joanna hendon. that s her right there representing president trump in attempts to limit the federal government s access to those materials they seized last week from cohen s office, his home, his hotel room, a safe deposit box, and a number of electronic devices. it was the president s lawyer in court arguing against the justice department prosecutors from the president s own administration. also in attendance, just to give it a little more spice, adult film actress stormy daniels whose hush money payment before the election is reportedly of interest to the federal prosecutors. now she has also filed, of course, a civil suit against michael cohen that may be delayed while he is under criminal investigation. for years mr. cohen has acted like he is above the law. he has considered himself and openly referred to himself as mr. trump s fixer. he has played by a different set of rules, or shall we say no rules at all. my attorney and i are committed

lawyers, joanna and henden and christopher dicer and reed keeblg and what is interesting is the president s lawyers and michael cohen s lawyers are fighting the justice department. right. and it is odd how this is working out. but remember, the reason that he has to be there, donald trump, is that he is a true client of an attorney, he owned the privilege. he is the one who can say whether the attorney can speak or not. if michael cohen was so predisposed to say i would like to tell everyone what we talked about, he still could not if there was a true relationship. but to be clear for everybody, the reason they had this warrant announced the way it was and it is kind of covert mechanism is because they didn t trust michael cohen to be forthcoming in and giving the information over ready illy and so when they are reviewing the material, don t have the impression they re going to go back to michael cohen s house and he gets everything back in his garage and hands out what he would li
other than about russia, that is a red line. that again could prompt the president to take action against mueller, against this investigation, against rosenstein. this is the thing he is most sensitive about. government prosecutors access to his personal business records and we ll see what he does in response. once you go after trump organization documents, that brings in the trump family as well. and for the president, that is an extremely sensitive issue. it may well. and what the judge is suggesting, laura, is that they ll be a special master to go through these documents and to see what should be included and what shouldn t be included. but the trump attorney the president s attorney joanna hendon said she and her client oppose a especially master and we don t think a special master will protect the privilege of the president, she said. well the attorneys for the
