JAMMU: In order to realize the vision of National Education Policy 2020, a two-day workshop was organized by the J&K Board of School Education (JK BOSE) today to initiate translation of text books of environmental studies from class 3rd to 5th and Mathematics from class 1st to 5th in four official languages including Urdu, Dogri, Kashmiri and Hindi.
Chairperson, JK BOSE, Professor Veena Pandita inaugurated the workshop and Secretary JK BOSE, Maneesha Sareen presided over the programme.

JAMMU, Dec 22: Dogra Sadar Sabha (DSS) today recalled the 16th anniversary of the ‘Dogri Manyata Diwas’ at Sabha Bhawan amidst all the COVID constraints.
On the occasion, the members emphasized the necessity of preserving Dogri language and urged writers and poets to devote themselves in developing, promoting and popularizing the language by writing more and producing quality literature. They thanked the UT Government for inclusion of Dogri among official languages and introducing some lessons on Dogra history for Classes 6th to 8th syllabus in the schools under J&K Board of School Education.
