(Rutherford County, TN) On Monday (May 16, 2022), the Recovery Court for the 16th Judicial District held a graduation in Murfreesboro for seven of its participants. Judge Jimmy Turner welcomed Justice Jeff Bivins to address the graduates at the Rutherford County Judicial Center. Over 125 people were present for the graduation ceremony. Justice Bivins applauded the graduates and the program’s staff saying, “Programs like this one reunite families and restore lives.”

A May 16, 2017 murder case in Murfreesboro has come to a close. The man who murdered 18-year-old Kendrick Love was convicted in a Rutherford County Courtroom.District Attorney Jennings Jones explains what happened nearly 5-years ago…At the time, Jeremy Noah Soto-Morales was the only adult in the trio that met Love. The other two suspects were only 17-years-old. However, it was one of those two 17-year-olds that was convicted late last month for murdering Love. His name, TayShawn Patt .
