OXFORD, Miss. (AP) A man has been indicted on a capital murder charge in the death of a University of Mississippi student who went missing last summer and whose body has not been found, police said Wednesday.
A grand jury has indicted Timothy Herrington, Jr., for the murder of Ole Miss student Jimmie “Jay” Lee. On Monday, prosecutors brought forth evidence against the 22-year-old before a judge. The grand jury found Herrington guilty of capital murder and he was served his indictment by the Lafayette County Sheriff’s.
