Docs: Alleged DUI driver in case that killed three people was driving 10 miles per hour above posted speed limit Posted at 1:45 PM, Jan 06, 2021 and last updated 2021-01-06 16:48:56-05 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — Court documents detailing a deadly crash that killed three people shows the driver, who is facing charges of manslaughter and driving under the influence, was driving over the speed limit. A probable cause declaration shows Adam Teasdale was allegedly driving about 10 miles over the posted speed limit before a deadly crash on New Year s Eve in Northwest Bakersfield that killed three people. Documents show that Teasdale was driving eastbound on Brimhall Road off Jewetta Avenue when he swerved to the left for no apparent reason, and traveled over the raised concrete median and collided with a tree.
