Fort Worth Report and KERA will co-sponsor a virtual debate between Fort Worth mayoral runoff candidates Deborah Peoples and Mattie Parker.
The contenders will face off Tuesday, May 18 at noon. Watch live on this page, at FortWorthReport.org and on Facebook Live.
Sam Baker, KERA senior editor and local host for “Morning Edition, will moderate the debate.
The candidates will field in-depth questions about three topics from a panel of journalists representing both news organizations: Fort Worth Report CEO and publisher Chris Cobler, Report investigative journalist Jessica Priest and KERA’s Fort Worth reporter Miranda Suarez.

The contenders will face off at noon May 18. Both nonprofit, nonpartisan news organizations will stream the debate live at KERANews.org and FortWorthReport.org and on their Facebook pages.
