The 15-week meet at Clinton Raceway kicked off with a 10-race card Sunday afternoon (May 21), with trotters and pacers bringing in more than $67,000 to the mutuel windows for Clinton Raceway's 2023 season opener.

During her career she made Legends Day and the annual Charity Driver’s Challenge into can’t miss events that have raised lots of money for charity.
Legends Day has raised more than $225 thousand for the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation, while the Charity Driver’s Challenge has provided more than $325 thousand for local charities.
Carnohan plans to spend more time with her family and at her businesses Marita’s Fashion Boutique in Clinton and Bend Photo and Design.
The raceway has no plans on naming a replacement this season due to the uncertainty around COVID-19.
