Western Washington University track and field completed a sweep of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Championships for the first time in program history on May 13 at McArthur Stadium in Monmouth, Oregon.
Western Washington University track and field was split between two events this weekend, in Oregon and Renton, posting nine new top-10 marks in program history and three first-place finishes.
Western cross-country men’s and women’s teams are heading into regionals with high hopes after sweeping the Great Northwest Athletic Conference championships in Monmouth, Oregon on Saturday, Nov. 5.
These first-overall placements for both teams mark their second GNAC sweep in the last three seasons and second in program history.
Division II cross-country West Regionals are set for Nov. 19 in Billings, Montana.
