A St. Lawrence Health System doctor has received the first dose of the new COVID-19 vaccine at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
In a press release, St. Lawrence Health System said it had received an initial shipment of Pfizer-BioNTech’s vaccines on Tuesday and expects the second half of the doses to arrive in three weeks.
Hospitals in the North Country are preparing to help deliver the new Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, doses of which could begin to arrive in New York State as soon as this weekend.
