mine from a ship. reporter: u.s. officials tell me four tugboats contracted to pull the norwegian owned tanker, one of two tankers damaged in attacks thursday has been prevented from doing so by iranian gun boats that have surrounded the tanker. at first the iranians put out a press release saying they rescued all 44 of the sailors on these two disabled tankers. u.s. officials tell us one of the two tanker crews were detained by the iranians thursday after first being rescued by another merchant vessel. one of the crew members spoke earlier today on iranian state television. translator: i am from russia. they hosted us really well. everything is fine. reporter: only 23 are present in this video. the u.s. navy said it rescued 21 taylors from the other oil tanker that was attacked. important to remember those 23 sailors detained by iran have now been held for nearly two days against their will. u.s. central command released this photo showing what it says is an unexploded
