Spark Capital brings on head of investor relations

Jeff Doran was named head of investor relations at Spark Capital, confirmed Lizzy Bates Naimi, a Spark Capital spokeswoman.
The position is new. Mr. Doran will be responsible for building and overseeing the firm s investor relations team, which will foster relationships with Spark Capital s limited partners. He will report to
Paul Conway, co-founder and chief financial officer of Spark Capital.
Mr. Doran was a director of investor relations at Bain Capital Credit. His responsibilities have been assumed by the rest of the team, a Bain Capital spokesman said.
Spark Capital manages more than $4 billion in assets.
