Davison joined a list of six former Alabama signees who have been named to the McDonald s All-American team, with the most recent being Collin Sexton back in 2017. The other five players were Devonta Pollard in 2012, JaMychal Green in 2008, Richard Hendrix in 2005, Mo Williams in 2001 and Gerald Wallace in 2000.
JD Davison, Alabama s 2021 5-star commit, continues to impress as he looks to wrap up his senior year with another state championship. The 6-2 guard out of Letohatchee , AL gave a historical performance in route to a playoff victory.
Davison dominated with 32 points, 11 boards, 11 assist and eight steals as Calhoun crushed Isabella 102-57 Wednesday in the Alabama state playoffs.

These video game like numbers are now becoming the usual. Having notched 40-plus points four times in a short season. The future looks bright for Davison and Tide Basketball fans.
While leading the state in scoring, Davsion continues to show a reliable jump shot, effort on the defensive end, a willingness to share the ball, and NBA caliber athleticism that will translate well in Nate Oats s up-tempo system next year.
