Headlight staff reports
POLICE
Criminal damage to property: Elieser Arvizo, 24, Columbus, NM. Also, resisting, evading or obstructing an officer.
Abandonment of a child: Amanda Venzor, 37, 300 block of S. Klondike St. Also, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
Criminal damage to property: 800 block of E. Pine St. A windshield to a 2007 GMC Yukon was damaged. Estimated loss is $450.
Warrants: Alejandro Ramirez, 23, 6700 block of Onyx Road SE. Failure to pay fine in Luna County Magistrate Court. Also, probation and parole warrant out of Adult Probation Office.
Battery: Daniel Lucero, 29, 700 block of E. Poplar St. Battery on a household member. Also, two counts of battery on a peace officer, two counts of assault on a peace officer, criminal damage to property of a household member and resisting, evading or obstructing an officer.
