Albuquerque firefighters hit the ground running Thursday morning at a boarded up house on Georgia Street near Trumbull. It wasn't the first time the crew had been there.
Because of where the hikers were located and the terrain being too difficult to carry them, New Mexico State Police used their helicopter to airlift the hikers out of the canyon and carried them to waiting ambulances.
