Petain with Hitler; Petain plaque on Broadway
New York, N.Y. and various U.S. states Broadway plaque honoring Nazi collaborator Philippe Pétain (1856–1951). After the Nazis conquered France, Pétain led the Vichy Regime – a puppet government of the Third Reich.
