Eleven people died have been confirmed dead following an accident involving a bus and a lorry at Othoo area in Nyando sub-county along the Kisumu - Nairobi Highway.
Nyanza Regional Traffic Enforcement Officer Allan Mwangi has confirmed the incident, saying other 53 passengers were admitted to Ahero Sub-county Hospital.
