The Supreme Court has instructed district courts to hold special janata courts for six days to facilitate litigants in their respective districts to get their cases pending in the Supreme Court disposed of through mediation. This measure has been taken to ensure pending cases are disposed of speedily and facilitate poor petitioners to get quality justice.
