CENTER, Wis. â Rock County authorities have arrested a man on a murder charge in connection with a âcomplex and violent deathâ investigation.
Rock County Sheriffâs Office deputies responded to a home on W. Mineral Point Road in the Town of Center west of Janesville on June 14. While there, they found an elderly woman dead in the homeâs garage. That woman has since been identified as 97-year-old Kathleen N. Beggs.
Officials said the suspect, 37-year-old Jamie B. Beggs, had been staying with Kathleen Beggs at her residence when she was found dead. Jamie was arrested for the elder Beggsâ murder while he was in Rock County Jail on an unrelated charge, according to a news release.
