Justin Barboza, 29, received the maximum sentence from Virginia Beach Circuit Court Judge James C. Lewis for charges of DUI (third offense within 10 years) and hit and run with personal injury. Barboza pleaded guilty to the charges on Dec. 21, 2021, less than four months after the crash.
