Share Football fans are being invited to take on experts at the University of Reading at predicting the results of Euro 2020 matches. A brand new predictions game from the University is challenging the public to predict scores in the upcoming Euro 2020 championships better than a computer model developed by academics in the Department of Economics. Players will be asked to input their predicted score for each fixture, with the option to join a league table to see how they rank against other players. The table will also include the Reading computer model, which uses data on squad strength combined with recent form and historic results to calculate the most probable score.

A DRINK driver who sped at 93mph in a 30mph zone before careering through the middle of a roundabout and into the front of a house has been jailed. James Glenn Reade was at the wheel of his Volkswagen Scirocco when he committed the dangerous driving incident in Poole. Following the crash in November last year he fled the scene but was located shortly afterwards in Bournemouth. Reade, aged 47 and of Sheppard s Field, Wimborne, was jailed for six months at Bournemouth Crown Court on Friday, December 11, after admitting offences of dangerous driving and drink driving. At around 7.20am on Sunday, November 17, 2019, the defendant left an address in Bournemouth in his car and travelled to Poole.
