BUCKHANNON A Buckhannon man who allegedly struck his girlfriend with a porcelain plate and her adult son with a porcelain bowl was arrested for two felony accounts of domestic battery third offense.
On Oct. 1, James Michael Williams, 47, allegedly forcibly pushed his girlfriend up against a wall by her throat using his hand which was witnessed by the girlfriend’s adult son, according to the criminal complaint in the Upshur County Magistrate Clerk’s office.
When the adult son attempted to intervene, Williams allegedly shoved him to the ground. Williams then struck the girlfriend with the plate which broke and struck the adult son on the leg with a square bowl that broke.
