The U.S. Department of Justice has opened federal criminal cases into more than 200 people so far as part of the FBI’s investigation into the activities surrounding the storming of the Capitol.
Among those defendants are at least three other parent-child pairs, in addition to the Sandovals: Kevin Seefried and his son, Hunter Seefried; James Herman “Sonny” Uptmore and his son, Chance Anthony Uptmore; and Lisa Eisenhart and her son, Eric Munchel. Additionally, a husband and wife – Bennie Alvin Parker, 70, and Sandra Ruth Parker, 60, – were arrested Thursday in Ohio.

Below is a list of defendants charged in federal court in the District of Columbia related to crimes committed at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C, on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021.
Every case is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. Following arrests, or surrender, defendants must appear before district court magistrate/judge where the arrest takes place, in accordance with the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure.

SAN ANTONIO A father and son from San Antonio are facing charges after allegedly entering the U.S. Capitol with a mob of others during the insurrection on January 6.
Both Chance Anthony Uptmore and his father, James Herman Sonny Uptmore, have an initial appearance at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in a virtual hearing.
