here in washington as well. dana, thanks very much. it would have been something, wouldn t it, john, if the president and/or the first lady would have come over and watch this vote unfold and sit up in the gallery. that would have been unprecedented in my time here in washington in 22 years. it s wonderful that her family is there. because however you feel about this legislation, they re going to have a big vote tonight. this debate will continue through the election year, this is a victory for the speaker. her caucus may pay a price politically. her party may pay a price politically. see how it plays out. she s been tenacious. this was at the abyss. she decided it was not. she worked the president from backing down to a more modest bill and worked her caucus and going to get 216 plus, 220 maybe. you think of the speaker and the legislation, you have to applaud her success in getting to the finish line. now how many seats will she lose as a result of this vote tonight. rebr
