Hajj commission urges clerics to sustain fight against COVID-19

National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON)The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has appealed to Islamic clerics (Ulama) to be in the forefront of the spiritual fight against COVID-19 pandemic. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the commission, Alhaji Zikrullah Hassan, made the appeal at a meeting with Ulama, held at Hajj House, on Monday in Abuja. x He said the meeting was organised to enable NAHCON interact and intimate clerics on its vision and activities as well as seek advice of the clerics on Hajj matters. Hassan emphasised the need for clerics to sustain enlightenment on risk factors associated with COVID-19 pandemic with a view to curtail the spread of the virus.
