The polling for Malir s PS-88, Sanghar s PS-43, Pishin s PB-20 was held today, starting at 8am till 5pm.
Strict security arrangements were made as area residents came to polling stations to vote for their area representatives.
During the polling, different incidents of violence and chaos were reported.

2:50pm, a fight broke out between supporters of independent candidates in Pishin s PB-20 polling station in Karbala Shahi. The police have reached the site and are trying to resolve the matter.

The Pakistan Peoples Party will be defending its constituency against a new challenger in town, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, in the by-election on PS-43 Sanghar III constituency which will be held today (Tuesday).
The Sindh Assembly s constituency, based on Jam Nawaz Ali taluka of Sanghar district, fell vacant after the demise of PPP MPA Jam Madad Ali Khan on November 13, 2020.
PPP s Nawabzada Jam Shabbir Ali Khan, son of the deceased Khan, will defend his father s seat against PTI s Mushtaq Juenjo, a new entrant in constituency politics, who has won the backing of the Grand Democratic Alliance.
In Balochistan, JUI-F candidate defeats ruling BAP and secures PB-20 Pishin seat
SANGHAR:
The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has secured a landslide victory in by-poll held in district Sanghar’s provincial assembly seat.
As per the unofficial results, PPP s Jam Shabbir Ali got 48,028 votes in Sanghar’s PS-43 constituency.
Mushtaq Junejo, candidate of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), came second with 6,925 votes.
A total of seven candidates were contesting the polls, with a rigorous competition held between the PPP and the PTI.
