Cal fire airbase in hollister you can see wellwishers dropping off flowers in front of the base to support the firefighters. For the last 13 years, pilot craig hunt had flown out of this base to fight fires who took off from the base with the air tanker around 3 15 yesterday afternoon about an hour later the plane crashed. Hunt was a contracted pilot working for cal fire. The san jose man was an experienced pilot. His daughter shared these photos with us including a wedding photo.
