After Jermar Jefferson shredded the Oregon Ducks’ defense for 226 rushing yards in a record-setting performance, a cluster of prestigious individual accolades arrived one after the other for the Oregon State Beavers running back.
Within days, he was named a semifinalist or contender for the Doak Walker Award, Maxwell Award, Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll and College Football National Performer of the Year, while also earning Pac-12 Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors.
