On Tuesday, the Jackson County Salvation Army collected final donations for their annual toy and food drive.

MEDFORD, Ore. On Tuesday, the Jackson County Salvation Army collected final donations for their annual toy and food drive.
The organization has been signing up over 1,300 families for Christmas assistance. Volunteers will start distributing items to families on Friday.
Major Jason Koenig says 500 families are expected to show up on the first distribution day, which takes place at the Jackson County Expo.
Families have been given a set day and time to come pick up their items.
