Domino Theory
Right now , everyone is waiting for the first domino to fall. Sure, there’s been a few minor signings, but not the first big one that sets things in motion. Quietly, stealthily, Cashman is trying to set it off. But it’s not what you think. The first domino to fall is going to be Giancarlo Stanton. Yup. After forcing his way to NY 3 years ago, with visions of sugarplums, and championship rings and MVP trophies, he may now be willing to waive that no-rade and return to his old stomping grounds of So Cal. That’s right, after some flashes of brilliance in Petco, he was reminded of how great it would be to live in beautiful weather, and escape the withering glare of the NY fans and media (poor Giancarlo, so misunderstood) So, back-channelling with Pods, Dodgers and Angels - a deal is brewing.
