No charges will be filed after 10-year-old accidentally kills brother with revolver: DA Updated Feb 26, 2021; A 10-year-old boy playing with a revolver accidentally shot his older brother in the head on Valentine’s Day, leading to the 12-year-old boy’s death on Thursday, the district attorney’s office announced Friday. The office said in a statement released Friday afternoon that they had completed their investigation and concluded there would be no criminal charges. Dauphin County District Attorney Fran Chardo gave this account of the shooting, which occurred just after noon on Feb. 14 in the 2900 block of Sycamore Street: The parents left their two sons home alone to attend a brunch.

'I forgive you,' weeping woman tells man convicted of murdering her grandson after losing fistfight

‘I forgive you,’ weeping woman tells man convicted of murdering her grandson after losing fistfight Updated Dec 23, 2020; Peggy Anderson was standing in a Dauphin County courtroom Wednesday morning, just a few feet from the man who murdered her grandson. Yet she didn’t rant at Julius Allen, who was about to be sentenced to life in prison for the September 2018 shotgun slaying of Kevin Royster in Harrisburg. She took a much softer tone. “I feel sorry for your family,” Anderson said amid her sobs. “I forgive you, because I’m trying to be a good Christian woman and the only way I can go on is to forgive you.”
