In 2023 South Africa will host the Netball World Cup for the first time in its history, with the Proteas hoping to clinch their first world title on home soil. First, they must test their powers against the world’s best in the Quad Series.
The 24 players have been awarded performance-based contracts that came into effect from 1 April 2022 and will expire in December 2023, where a review will be conducted before new contracts are presented.
The national team will be competing against hosts England, New Zealand and Australia at the Copper Box Arena in London. The last time South Africa played at the Quad Series was back in 2019 in London ahead of the Netball World Cup.
