Sutapa Sikdar on cosmic connection with Irrfan Khan: ‘He is around, just not physically present’
Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan succumbed to cancer last year leaving his family and fans in grief. Irrfan s wife Sutapa Sikdar who is taking time to cope with his absence says her cosmic connection with the late actor has continued even after his death. âThere are things where I feel suddenly as if everything is the same. He is around, he is just not physically present,â Sutapa told Times of India.Â
He says that she still feels his presence around her. She told TOI, âBoth of us loved the rain. And both of us would joke â if it was very hotâ¦and it would rain the next day. Late actor Irrfan Khan s wife Sutapa Sikdar took to her Instagram to shower praises for son Babil after he collected an award on behalf of his father. Recently, Irrfan Khan was posthumously honoured with the Best Actor in a Leading Role and Lifetime Achievement Award for his last release Angrezi Medium . Son Babil received the award and had broken down at the event remembering his father. Sharing a picture of the same, Sutapa said that her son is a strong man who doesn t shy away from showing his emotions. She also called him a kadak launda.

Irrfan Khan s son on Thursday walked down the memory lane as he shared a throwback picture on his Instagram of the late actor with actress Tabu. The picture was from the movie Maqbool, which was released in 2003. Babil also mentioned that the thought of starting his career 8 years early, often frightens him. He further revealed that to calm his anxieties, he often goes through Irrfan s pictures.Â
