IPOH: The Ipoh police have set up roadblocks at five locations here to ensure people adhere to the movement control order that starts today.
Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm A. Asmadi Abdul Aziz said the five locations included Jalan Simpang Pulai-Cameron Highlands, Jalan Kuala Kangsar, Jalan Bercham and near the Ipoh Utara and Selatan toll interchanges.
“We want to ensure those heading to the city centre truly have reasons to do so. It was quite chaotic this morning as most people are working or operating their businesses as permitted, ” he told reporters after a visit to the roadblock at Jalan Kuala Kangsar here on Friday (Jan 22).
