Jail. A warrant was issued for her arrest after police say she violated a nocontact worked as a substitute teacher at Cedar Rapids Washington High School and admitted to having a sexual relationship with a student in a june interview with cbs 2 news. She says the school was trying to cover it up. Earlier this month she pleaded not cover it all up and earlier this month she plead not guilty to the Sexual Exploitation charges. Breaking news overnight police in cedar rapids say one person is dead after an officerinvolved shooting. It happened at an apartment complex at 1735 edgewood road. Northwest. Kevin im here at the valley high apartment the Police Department tells cbs 2 news the shooting happened around 9thirty last night. The officers involved have not been identified at this time but they were first called out to the apartment complex for a domestic disturbance. A 25yearold male suspect died overnight at saint lukes hospital. His body is being taken to ankeny for either until his family is notified.
