Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate officials seized 46 gold bars, weighing over five kilogrammes, and arrested two Chinese nationals at Dhaka airport yesterday.

Smuggle 4.4 Kilogrammes of Gold Dust in Bangladesh: "We found about 4.4 kilogrammes of gold from his clothes after burning those yesterday. In total, he was carrying about 4,492 grammes of gold worth around Tk 4.60 crore," said Pradip Kumar Sarker, assistant director at the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID).
