Study Group launches Job Ready programme for Sri Lankan students studying at its UK partner universities

Students will learn valuable skills that will increase their ability to secure employment and develop work experience whilst they study
To bring Sri Lankan students studying abroad the most promising chance of securing a job, leading global international education provider Study Group has rolled out its ambitious Job Ready Programme that can allow applicants to demonstrate their skills and job readiness while studying at its UK partner universities. Study Group will cover the cost of the service for all students who confirm their place at a UK International Study Centre or International College.
Turkey is currently training the Libyan coast guard in order to help it intercept refugee and migrant boats heading to Europe. According to the British newspaper the Times, a Turkish naval vessel .

Study Group s International Study Centre at the University of Lincoln.
Study Group’s International Study Centre at the University of Lincoln will close this summer, with formal redundancy proceedings understood to have begun.
Study Group is an external provider who specialises in pre-degree and pre-masters programmes to support students coming to the UK to study.
Brighton-based Study Group, has been in partnership with the university since 2010, but the contract is ending and is not being renewed so the centre will close on August 31, 2021.
The option was given by the university, who are working on offering alternative provision, to go through a tendering process and this was not taken up by Study Group.

A 48-year-old man who police believe is now living in Leicestershire is wanted over an indecent images offence that happened in Lincolnshire.
Lincolnshire Police are appealing for information to help locate Darryl Faulkner, who has a tattoo on his neck.
He is wanted in relation to a disclosure of private sexual images offence.
Anyone who has seen him or has any information regarding his whereabouts should contact police on 101 or via email at [email protected] quoting reference 21000020888.

As part of its response to the Covid pandemic, which has left thousands of international students unable to enter Aotearoa New Zealand for study, the University of Auckland is launching a number of International Study Centres (ISC) around the world.These will allow international students who wish to study here to complete a foundation programme in their home countries, before enrolling at the University of Auckland when border restrictions are lifted.
The Centres are being run in collaboration with Northern Consortium (NCUK), a global consortium of leading universities.
Brett Berquist, Director International at the University of Auckland, said the initiative formed part of a wider range of strategies to better serve prospective international students who may be unable to enter New Zealand right now.
