Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i has said that the government will soon commence phasing out officers within the Kenya Prisons Service and the National Police Service who have not undergone cadet training in a new service structure that seeks to harmonise and bring professionalism in national security.
Dr Matiang’i made the remarks on Thursday when he presided over the inaugural cadets training course at Prison Staff Training College in Ruiru, Kiambu County.
